Film Studies
The Film Studies module exposes students to landmark films and series such as Gandhi, Bharat Ek Khoj, Samvidhan, Freedom at Midnight, and several others. These works help students understand India’s freedom struggle, constitutional development, and key political and social movements through a visual and narrative lens. By analyzing historical contexts, leadership choices, and societal changes depicted in films, students develop critical thinking, interpretative skills, and an appreciation for the interplay of politics, culture, and history. The program encourages discussions on cinematic storytelling as a tool for understanding governance, democracy, and nation-building, making learning engaging and immersive.
