Biography and Autobiography
At the MIT School of Government, students engage in the study of biographies and autobiographies of India’s eminent leaders, including Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, Jawaharlal Nehru, M. K. Gandhi, C. Rajagopalachari, E. V. Ramaswamy, P. V. Narasimha Rao, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Narendra Modi, Sharadchandra Pawar, and many others. These studies help students understand leadership styles, decision-making in complex situations, ethical governance, resilience, and vision. By exploring personal journeys, challenges, and accomplishments, students gain insights into public service, political strategy, social reform, and nation-building, cultivating critical thinking, empathy, and a deeper appreciation of India’s democratic and historical evolution.
