Rural Immersion
The Rural Immersion program is a key component of the MPG curriculum, providing students with grassroots-level understanding of governance and development. It includes visits to model villages such as Ralegan Siddhi and Hiware Bazar, along with interactions at municipal offices, Zilla Parishad offices, Anganwadi centres, and Primary Health Centers. Students study the local economy, agriculture, and the functioning of local self-government institutions. The program also focuses on understanding welfare schemes and last-mile service delivery through direct engagement with frontline workers such as Anganwadi workers and ASHA workers, offering valuable insights into rural administration and community-driven development.
