Case Studies

The Case Studies module offers in-depth analysis of over 75 landmark developments that have shaped post-independence India. These include key themes such as land reforms, the Green revolution, the Naxal movement, the Emergency, LPG reforms, and the Lokpal agitation, among others. Covering social, political, economic, legal, ecological, and cultural dimensions, the module enables students to understand policy decisions, governance challenges, and their real-world impact. Through structured analysis and discussion, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a nuanced understanding of India’s evolving democratic and developmental landscape.
