Our Vision
To create an ethical platform for young educated Sarpanch from various parts of the country, which will result in coming together of rural leadership for identifying and delivering solutions for sustainable development of villages and thus reduce the gap between India and Bharat
Our Mission
To Empower Sarpanch for betterment of villages by supporting underdeveloped area of India with all stakeholders of Panchayati Raj in order to create more model villages across India.
About Rashtriya Sarpanch Sansad
Rashtriya Sarpanch Sansad is unique initiative taken by Shri Rahul V Karad, Executive President-MIT WPU, Foundar BCS, NTC, NWP and School of Government to bring Sarpanch, Government, Media and Experts for Vision of Rural Development.
Sarpanch are key official between Center, State Government and Villagers. As per the new Act Sarpanch are elected
directly from Voters. Continuous trainings are necessary for empowering Sarpanch, which is the main objective for
Sarpanch Sansad.
The Sansad aspires to create Model Villages at every Taluka (Block) level. These Model Developed Villages would be
on the lines of decentralization of power and Rural Empowerment as proposed by Mahatma Gandhi. These villages
will in turn act as Role Models for growth of other less developed villages in the vicinity.
Eminent Speakers and Experts will discuss Issues in Agriculture, Role of Women in Village development, Water
management, Rural Development funding Plan, CSR and Government schemes etc. under one roof
Messages
I am glad that MIT World Peace University has taken another unique initiative for gathering Sarpanch under one roof. Indian village system has always entrusted a great responsibility on Sarpanch and they have played key role in development of Villages.
I am sure Hon Prime Minister’s Vision of development of Rural and backward area of India, Sarpanch Sansad will play key role to fulfill the vision. I have no doubt All participant Sarpanch will contribute to lay rural development reforms. Maharashtra Government will support by heart to Sarpanch Sansad and Output impending through 1st Sarpanch Sansad.
