National Felicitation Ceremony of UPSC Qualifiers CSE-2023

MIT World Peace University (MIT-WPU) held a magnificent 14th National Felicitation Ceremony program for the 2023 UPSC qualifiers recently, carrying on its custom of recognizing and rewarding outstanding academic performance and commitment. The event took place on 26 July 2024 at Sant Dyaneshwar Hall, MIT- WPU. This year's felicitation was graced by chief guest Dr. Jayprakash Narayan, IAS (Retd.), President, Loksatta Party & General Secretary, Foundation for Democratic Reforms & Former MLA, and special guest of honor, Dr. D. P. Agrawal - Former Chairman, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). A special felicitation was held for UPSC CSE All India Rank 2 – 2023 – Mr. Animesh Pradhan who gave a motivational speech on the value of resiliency, lifelong learning, and national service. Along with the dignitaries, the occasion was graced by 150 CSE AIR rank holders and IFS AIR rank holders.

MIT-WPU has recognized 1400+ UPSC rank holders over the years, encouraging a culture of dedication and quality. The felicitation program underscored MIT-WPU’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic student development. It reinforced the university’s role as a nurturing ground for future leaders and change-makers. The event fostered a spirit of ambition and perseverance among the students, encouraging them to aim higher and work diligently towards their goals. After the felicitation, an oath was administered by Mr. Animesh Pradhan followed by the rank holders who were present there. The qualifiers promised to uphold the standards of integrity and dedication in their future duties as government officials and to positively contribute to society.

The event also included interactive sessions where students had the opportunity to engage directly with the UPSC achievers. These sessions were immensely beneficial, offering practical advice on exam preparation, time management, and the mental resilience required to succeed in such a competitive arena. The achievers’ willingness to share their strategies and experiences provided the students with a realistic roadmap to follow.
